When diving is becoming Art

Behind their digital screens and through their sensitive eyes, they tread the seas of the world for the most beautiful underwater shots.

Witnesses of a dying ocean, these passionate divers decline their love for the oceans and their passion for diving through photographs, some of which are of very high quality and sure diving is becoming Art

This is the case for Vincent Truchet, talented photographer, whom I told you through the article Working in the scuba diving industry … with a partner it’s better and for which I resume today my keyboard.

Long-time initiated to underwater photography in the Mediterranean, Corsica or Normandy, Vincent has since 2010 Polynesia as the most beautiful field of exploration. Fauna and flora of the Tuamotu lagoons are his wonderful models.

Through his work and via his website, Vincent allows us to capture some of the beauty and fragility of this incredible and fascinating underwater world.

No wonder since he was contacted to exhibit among other artists at the Salon des Beaux-Arts.

When we know that themes about nature are more and more popular, probably with regard to environmental emergencies and the questions that underlie them, combining art and underwater photography is an important challenge for this prestigious event.

In addition to the recognition of his work represented by his presence at this event alongside painters, sculptors, engravers, … exhibition of underwater photographs at the Salon des Beaux-Arts, it is a little to bring the underwater world into the artistic universe.

Through the radiant presence of underwater photographers such as Vincent Truchet in exhibitions, … it is finally diving in general that is becoming Art.

This convergence between underwater photography and art will be expressed through an exhibition from 13 to 16 December 2018 at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris.

Do not hesitate to visit this free exhibition open to all  and meet Vincent during the opening on December 13th.
